  • I accept cash, credit/debit card, Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp.

  • BOOKING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Service are available to guests 18 years of age and older.

  • If you are not ready for your appointment on time, your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending on how late you are, the therapist will determine if there is enough time to start your treatment.

Regardless of the treatment length, you will be responsible for the full session fee.

  • I understand that unexpected events happen but in order to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies should be honored:

I respectfully ask that you allow more than 48 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment. If 48 hour notice cannot be given, please note the following cancellation fees:

Canceling under 24 hours incurs a 50% fee.

    No call/no show incurs a 100% fee.

Fees will need to be paid prior to scheduling a new appointment.

  • I recommend you shower. Eat a meal 2-3 hours prior to your treatment to avoid being too full or too hungry during your visit.

  • I will adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, work longer on an area or move on if you request it. Undergarments are optional during massage session. I offer a few unique therapies for which I recommend that you wear comfortable yoga attire. You may refuse any massage methods or stop massage at any time. The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. The client will be kept informed of the area to be massaged. Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER APPROPRIATE.

  • It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medications and medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions. For clients undergoing chemo and radiation therapies – Please note that I require a doctor’s note that states the doctor is aware of and agrees to the desired treatment.

Footnotes

  • Due to the deep pressure of barefoot massage, the following are conditions in which barefoot massage can not be performed: Uncontrolled high blook pressure, deep vein thrombosis, aneurysm, clotting disorders, use of blood thinners, neuropathy, osteoporosis/penia, acute traumatic injuries, fever, active infections, contagious skin conditions.

The following conditions require caution when performing barefoot massage and may require skipping a local area or an alternative technique: Pregnancy, Diabetes, Major surgeries, Joint replacements within 6-9 months, Previous fractures, Injections including Botox and vaccines, Steroids, painkillers and some antidepressants, Plates/Pins/Shrapnel/Implanted medical devices, Breast Implants, other cosmetic implants (no direct pressure allowed).

    1. Feet are broader than hands and the body loves broad and sustained pressure. You won’t feel pokey thumbs and knuckles!

    2. I can use gravity to my advantage when using my feet for massage. If you love deep pressure, this is the style for you!

    3. Did you know that barefoot massage is actually more hygienic than massage styles that use hands as manual therapy tools? It’s true! It is much more likely for hands to have harmful bacteria on them in comparison to feet. Plus, barefoot massage therapists follow a very strict hygiene protocol before and after every session along with daily manicuring.

    1. Your therapist will warmly greet you and ask how you are feeling and if there are any specific areas of concern.

    2. The therapist will leave the room while you undress to your comfort level for Sarga or Therapeutic Table massage. If you are receiving a Thai or Breathe and Unwind session, you will remain clothed. You will lie on a padded table underneath a sheet (or futon mat for Beyond the Stretch or yoga mat for Breathe & Unwind and Unwind & Thrive sessions). Please see Clothing Protocol for more information.

    3. The therapist will knock before entering the room to ensure you are ready.

    4. I will ask you about your comfort levels with the pressure and technique, so let me know if there's any change in pressure throughout the session. If you feel pain or discomfort, tell me immediately.

    5. To talk or not to talk during the session? That is up to you. The therapist will be focused on providing the best treatment possible and will generally remain silent. If you would like some light conversation, and of course, if there are any concerns during the session, please speak up.

    6. Once the session is done, the therapist will leave the room to allow you to dress in private.

  • Sarga Barefoot massage is best received when undressed completely. This allows the therapist to properly access and target the muscles and fascia in your low back, hips, and legs which are often the culprits that contribute to chronic pain. You will ALWAYS be properly draped to maintain your privacy and comfort. Of course, you are welcome to leave underwear on if you prefer. The therapist will adjust the session to accommodate your preferences.

If you’re not comfortable undressing, consider substituting your bodywork session with a Breathe & Unwind or Beyond the Stretch session as you remain fully clothed for these therapies.

  • The best thing you can do is take the rest of the day to unwind, giving your body time to rest and adjust to the work it received. To fully benefit from your massage, it’s extremely important to re-hydrate so your body can heal properly.

In addition to hydration, you will probably receive a few self-care recommendations to help your body maintain balance until your next appointment.

  • During a session, there are some things you should avoid doing to ensure that you have a safe and smooth experience which include engaging in distracting activities (like talking on your phone), removing the drape, or not speaking up if you feel any pain or discomfort during the massage.

Remember that I am a licensed professional, and any unprofessional solicitation of any kind will lead to an immediate end to the session for my safety.

By avoiding these actions, you can help ensure that you have a comfortable and effective bodywork experience.
